This project is one of MCM’s largest to date, covering over 3.3 million sq feet. The project was awarded in December 2005. The decommissioning process began shortly after in January 2006, which included all asbestos abatement and environmental cleaning. All types of both ferrous and non ferrous material were recycled on site. Demolition began in early April 2006. Once demolition is completed, the final task of material processing and transportation will be done by February 2007.
